Lush green woods

It was a fine Friday morning, when we left for the unplanned trip.

The story goes as follows: I love travelling a lot and what I like the most is the road trips. Though I get free airtrips, I prefer road trips over anything else because we get to know about the nature and the different religions and beliefs that lies in the heart of Mother India.

I have been a constant traveller and from the last 2 years I have set a goal of searching for 2 new places each year. This year it was the time for some unplanned trip. We were 3 friends and simply headed towards Murthal on a fine friday morning. We then decided that having shortage of time should be visiting chandigarh and would be returning back home by sunday or so. As soon as we entered chandigarh, a policemen stopped us and we were asked to present the documents of the vehicle. We did the task being given but he said that we need to pay a fine of Rs2000 as the sunvisors were attached to the glasses of the car. We pleased them and we could convince them by paying only Rs300. Then we headed towards the hotel and checked-in over there and had a little nap after having the lunch. In the evening around 4, we left for Sukhna lake, it was pleasant to be there in the evening. Cold waves, clear blue sky and quiet surrounding made it even more cheerful. It was so quiet over there that we could even listen to the chirping sound of the birds which has almost vanished from the capital. After sitting over there for almost 2 hours, we left for Elante Mall at sector 17, chandigarh, having fun around and came back to the hotel after having the dinner.

Next morning made it even more beautiful when we just changed our minds and planned to visit Kasauli, which is a small town in the north Indian state of Himachal. It is popular for colonial era-houses, orchards and green-roofed Christ Church. We left for Kasauli after having our complementary breakfast offered by OYO. We reached Kasauli in 2 hours or so. I was pleased to see the climate of the place. We booked the hotel while commuting to Kasauli and headed straight to the hotel. The hotel’s owner was polite enough. As we were unknown about the place, we simply asked the owner about the places where we could visit as we were running short of time and had to cover the best places, though we could have google-d it, but we preferred to ask the owner as he could give perfect suggestions.

We visited Gilbert trail, Manki point and Mall road. We also bought fruit wines which the place is famous for. Had dinner on the mall road and came to hotel and had a deep sleep.

Next morning was the time to head back home. We packed our bags, and left for the homeplace. We reached our homes back around 4. I always recommend Trips with friends as they are always the best and worth-remembering as time is the only thing which has got the value in every relationship. Give time to everyone because NO MATTER WHAT MEMORIES CAN NEVER BE REPLACED.

And now I would like to sum up and the last thing i would say is

Safar khubsurat hai manzil se bhi.
